This service allows you to re-direct incoming voice calls to a nominated phone number of your choice.
If this service is activated, unanswered calls are forwarded to an automated message service, giving the caller the opportunity to have their phone number sent via SMS to your mobile phone.
You can choose to restrict outgoing and or incoming calls.
If you're in a meeting, busy playing golf or relaxing on holidays and don't want to be disturbed by incoming calls, Call Screen is ideal for you! With Call Screen, incoming calls are automatically re-directed to an answering service where an operator will typically capture the name and number of a caller and forward these details to you via SMS.
This feature allows you to conduct a conference call for up to 8 participants in one call. The call initiator must remain for the duration of the call otherwise the call we be disengaged. This function is only available on handsets that allow for conference calls.
You can choose to utilise the call waiting function for those times when you're already on the phone and someone else is trying to contact you. If call waiting is activated, callers won’t hear the 'busy' tone if they try to call you and you are on another call. Instead the phone will continue to ring and a notification will be presented to you on the screen of your handset, giving you the option to put your current call on Call Hold and answer the new call. Call Hold allows you to then revert back to the original call whenever you choose.
Your SMSPup Mobile service will identify the caller by the phone number used to make the call provided the caller has not 'blocked' their identification.
To send, receive or forward a picture message, connect to the Internet or send, receive or forward email, your handset needs to be GPRS capable and configured to the SMSPup Mobile network. With GPRS enabled you can surf the web, receive information services and download ringtones to your handset. For GPRS setup instructions, contact Customer Support.
Each text message allows you 160 characters to type and send to anyone with a compatible mobile phone.
With SMSPup Mobile, once GPRS is enabled on your handset, you’re free to surf the world wide web anytime of the day. You can also send and receive email using our service, handset permitting.
